GRAND PRIX RULES
1. Divisions include 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 in singles and doubles events. Consolation
rounds will be provided for first round losers.
2. Players may play up a division but not down. Doubles teams must play in the division of
the highest rated player.
3. Players will play at their club ratings NOT USTA ratings.
4. Players who receive a first round BYE and then lose, will earn first round points.
5. Players who receive a default, earn points for that tournament.
6. Players who default in the first round do not earn points for that tournament.
7. If not enough players for a division, players who play up will receive points for their
division.
8. Players are responsible for calling the club for their first round starting times.
9. All tournaments will be played on Saturdays. Deadline in the Wednesday before.
10. Players must play at least 6 of the 12 tournaments to qualify for year end prizes.
